Ppl might not care because it 'doesn't change anything' but still it is there and probably consumed a lot of development time. Comments and interjections added to the base unchanging dialogue. Also, you rarely get a full spectrum of Tides as choice, so don't use it as a guideline, it might be all blue, plus one blue-silver, plus one neutral for example.įrom my experience there's actually a huge amount of optional flavour text like this, based on stuff like Tides or what companions you have with you.
If you're Blue in the middle of the game you can then always choose Red and become Red by the end. (I think there might be a small number of choices that require a specific dominant? I'm not sure.) Ofc a dialogue choice that is aligned with a certain Tide might have its own consequences (like you choose to start combat and get Red points), but it will always be available regardless of your current dominant. Mostly it doesn't change what actually happens outside of dialogue or what choices are available to you, just flavour text like this. For example if your dominant Tide is blue a character might say 'I see you have an air of a scholar about you, you might know something about this'. It's more of a flavour roleplay thing, the way it is implemented.
